I was able to lift with 100% intensity and not worry about shoulder pain. It amazes me when the slightest difference between two movements can stress the shoulder so differently. I lowered some of the weight used in the first set of some of the exercises. I want to make sure that this first set is purely for neuromuscular connection and warm-up. I don't want my body to fatigue at all from the first set. I want to use as heavy a weight as possible on my failure set to maximize the overload.
